Over twenty years ago, one of the Reality Boffins spent a year in China living and working in a small city in Guizhou province.
During this time, he was introduced to the game of Mahjong. He was fascinated by the game and how it was played.
He loved watching the groups huddled around a Majong board in the parks and alleyways of the city. He was struck by how much they enjoyed the game and how it brought them together.
In later years he came across some of the 3D style interpretation of the game such as Mahjong Titans and the myriad 3D Mahjong games that were available. None of them quite captured the essense of the game that he had experienced in China.
He decided to create his own 3D Mahjong game that would capture the essense of the game that he had experienced in China. The relaxation of the Chinese Tea Rooms, the beauty of the traditional Chinese architecture and the serenity of the game.
